Position Summary:
Persons filling these positions will be used to augment the duties of lab technicians/technologist during vacation time. All functions will be performed under the direct supervision of a medical technologist/technician or histotechnologist/histotechnician as applicable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Enrollment in an accredited MLT or HT school is required.
Required Education, Licenses, and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED

Other Information:
Light lifting up to 25 pounds, general motion including bending, squatting, reaching, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Manual dexterity. Ability to speak plainly. Near visual acuity, ability to discern colors. May involve skin, eye, mucous membrane, or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious material.
