Always Best Care Senior Services is currently hiring an experienced scheduling coordinator for In-Home Care in Alamance, Chapel Hill & Durham. Must have scheduling experience in the home health field.

Since 1996, Always Best Care has helped families with non-medical in-home care and assisted living placement services along with skilled home health care in Alamance, Chapel Hill, Guilford and Orange Counties.
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for development and continual monitoring of the work schedules for Caregivers to meet patient care needs, adjusts staffing according to available staff and reports changes to appropriate supervisors, assure accuracy of the time reports, verify hours worked daily, bonus hours, overtime hours and benefit days, and calculate staffing based on adjusted census daily.

Job Description:

  • Schedules disciplines to all home care cases, current and prospective.
  • Pro-actively resolves staffing issues as a result of changes to staffing or client schedules.
  • Maintains record of absences (approved and unapproved) of all agency field personnel.
  • Notifies management of all staffing problems, resolved and unresolved, in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the currency and accuracy of the scheduling calendars.
  • Maintains consistent contact and clear communication with clients and caregivers.
  • Addresses questions, concerns and complaints from clients and caregivers.
  • Documents all occurrences during on-call shift and communicates change to the staffing team via verbal and/or written communication after the end of each on-call shift.
  • Processes clock ins and clock outs, and records data for payroll processing.

Maintains and respects confidentiality of client, employee, and agency information to ensure privacy is protected.

  • Home Care Scheduling Experience
  • Clear Care Experience

· Excellent computer skills
· Exceptional interpersonal skills.
· Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Work Hours
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday-Friday
Back up on-call for evenings and weekends, if on-call staffer needs assistance.

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
