**Must be 18 or older.**

The Installer is responsible for delivery and successful installation of furniture and other customer merchandise in customer’s homes or to BrandsMart USA locations, unsupervised, accurately, without causing damage to customer homes or merchandise. This is a full time, hourly position requiring proper licensing to drive and experience in installing and setting up electronic, home security, sound systems and related products. Except in rare occasions the Installer is assisted by and oversees the work of a co-worker.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Delivers and Installs Furniture:
The Installer delivers and installs furniture to customers’ homes or BrandsMart USA locations. Taking due care in safety for him/her self, co-workers, merchandise and customer property.
2. Delivers and Installs Electronics:
Performance of the installation function with precision, conformance to specifications and within a predictable time period. The position of Installer is a highly technical one. The Installer is expected to have knowledge of home televisions, audio systems, home security systems, computer networks and the capability to install each of these systems within the time allotted by management. The Installer is expected to have the ability to understand the electrical and electronic design of various systems, be able to read and understand installation instructions and schematics, and have the knowledge to use these skills to successfully install equipment in customer’s homes without causing damage or harm.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Individuals must possess and be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, abilities and skills necessary to the essential functions of the Installer position, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

Basic English language writing skills for completion of repair orders, requests (inter company and faxed requests), communications with customers, sales and other necessary correspondence as may be required.

Fluency in spoken English (or another language as may be required) for communication with customers and other persons sufficiently to be understood and to be able to accurately comprehend responses.

Basic math skills, including multiplication, addition, subtraction and division, necessary to verify amounts and costs of repairs and parts and quantities as may be required.

Sufficient manual dexterity in at least one hand to be able to operate all

Computer terminals and other electronic equipment and install all types of electronics, manually complete paperwork such as repair orders, transfers and customer inquires.

Ability to stand and/or sit continuously perform essential job functions for a eight hour shift, with one fifteen-minute break and one half hour meal break, with minimal direct supervision.

Qualification Standards

1. Education

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or college or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to accurately perform the above requirements. A high school diploma is preferred.

2. Experience

No prior experience is required. Prior customer service and electronic hook up experience is preferred.

3. Licenses

Must have a valid, current, Georgia Drivers License. Failure to retain a valid Georgia Drivers License can result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal.
