Home Health Aide provides services to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the patient by performing specific assigned tasks to enable the patient to continue daily living activities.
Education
High school diploma or equivalency.
Licensure/Certification
Must maintain current BLS certification.
One of the following requirements must be met:
- Certified as a home health aide for the State of Indiana and provide proof of certification.
- Obtain home health aide certification for the State of Indiana within one month of hire.
Experience
Experience in home care services or as an aide in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
