Hello Nurses,

Thrive Healthcare is looking for a Director of Nursing for our home health agency. We are a Joint Commission Accredited Agency serving Los Angeles. Our territory stretches from the South Bay to San Fernando Valley.

Job Responsibilities:

The DON is a leadership position. You will be partnering with our full-time Administrator to lead our growing agency. You must be comfortable managing other clinicians and confident when they come to you with questions.

The main responsibility of this position will be overseeing clinical care. This includes reviewing documentation for other clinicians, providing excellent customer service to our patients on the phone and in person, and training our clinicians. You will need to learn our EMR inside and out. Our EMR is Kinnser/Wellsky.

This job will be both in the office and in the patient's homes so you must be willing to drive. You will be able to work from home on many days or from the office, it is up to you. The most important thing is that we get the work done and patients seen on a timely basis. We are flexible to accomplish these goals.

You will not be asked to do anything related to answering phones after hours, payroll, hiring and HR documentation, intake, IT, and marketing because we have staff that will cover those job functions.

Our main office is located at 12061B W Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90230. We also have a satellite office at 600 Deep Valley Dr, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274.

About Us

We are a quickly growing home health agency. We have a census around 50 patients right now and cover all of LA county and north OC. We do a lot of IV therapy and have relationships with all the key IV pharmacies. We also have referral sources including leading local hospitals such as UCLA, Torrance Memorial, and Cedars.

Our Approach:

Our home care model is focused on Preventative Care. For us, Preventative Care is about improving ADLs. We know if patients cannot safely move around their home or cannot bathe themselves, medical issues will soon resurface in a variety of ways such as trauma from a fall or an infection due to poor hygiene. These issues will ultimately result in readmissions back to the hospital. We believe improving a patient’s ADLs is the best way to prevent infections and potential trauma and keep that patient out of the hospital. Hiring Requirements

-RN License
-3 Years Experience
-1 year of supervisory experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
