A professional caregiver's typical shift might include dressing, bathing, grooming, and toileting at a patient's home. As a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary group, you will work as part of a team approach to hospice and palliative care. By its nature, this work brings you into the lives of patients and their families and this requires sensitivity and understanding that differentiates this role from many others. We provide paid, on-the-job training to prepare you for successful employment and support you through teamwork, communication and flexibility.
Additional shift differentials of $0.95 to $2.30 per hour (depending on time and day worked) apply after 5pm and on weekends.
