Currently seeking a Seasoned Hospice Registered Nurse /Director of Patient Care Serviceswho will lead the clinical function of the hospice branch located in Sherman Oaks, CA.

SUMMARY
The Director of Patient Care Servicces / Administrator is responsible for all patient services of the hospice program. The DPCS must ensure quality patient care that is in compliance with industry standards, regulatory agencies, and company objectives and policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following; however other duties may be assigned:
Support and promote the mission and values of Sacred Life Hospice Care.
Provide Leadership, professional advice and knowledge for the clinical areas and staff.
Contribute to the development of the strategic planning for the program to ensure coordination between clinical operations goals and targets and the organization's strategic and financial goals and targets.
Oversee the delivery of patient services.
Assure achievement of budgeted patient care expense benchmarks. Develop plans to address budget variances in a timely fashion.
Ensure that all areas of responsibility comply with all Federal, Local and state regulations and standards.
Oversee the maintenance of medical records, assuring accuracy, completeness and compliance.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Participate in the recruitment, hiring, career development, retention, and professional growth process for all patient care employees.
Plan and implement staff education programs for all team members.
Evaluate the job performance of each direct report on a written basis at Least annually. Provide guidance for improvement of performance.
Coordinate the QAPI hospice performance improvement program.
Respond promptly to any patient/family issues and take appropriate action.
Ensure fair treatment of all employees and work to improve employee retention and morale.
Work with the Director of Admissions and the Admissions staff, as needed, to continually improve admissions process, address referral source service issues, and meet budgeted census targets.
Establish and continually maintain and improve the company's reputation and positive image in the markets served.
Consult with medical, business, and community groups to discuss service problems, respond to community needs, enhance public relations, coordinate activities and plans, and promote hospice programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range ($90,000-$120,000) DOE

Job Requirements:
Must have Hospice leadership /Director experience.

Must be a Registered Nurse in the state of California.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
