POSITION SUMMARY
Part-Time, Non Benefited Position
Starting Wage $14.96/hour (Effective 1/1/2023)
Plus $3.00/hour Weekend Differential
Under the general direction of the Household Team Leader, provides additional nursing support, attending to non-personal/non-direct care resident needs.
***Clearview is mandated by the CMS COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement.***
All newly hired employees must have received either the single dose Johnson and Johnson or the two dose Moderna or Pfizer vaccine prior to beginning employment with Clearview (unless a request for an exemption is approved).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Check with supervisor when reporting for duty.
2. Set tables prior to meals, set up trays for independent residents. Pick up trays and food items from dining areas and return to kitchen area.
3. Wash beds and change bed linens, make unoccupied beds, stock supplies to resident rooms or nurse servers.
4. Distribute ice water and liquids.
5. Accompany and assist with transport of residents to various activities, to and from dining rooms, beauty and barber shop, and church, etc.
6. Monitor and helping residents with activities, assisting with activity set-up and takedown.
7. Assists with household laundry and distributes personal laundry daily.
8. May clean and arrange household areas- soiled utility rooms, dining areas, resident’s rooms, bathrooms, night stands, closets, activity kitchen, living rooms per daily assignment.
9. Assist with cleaning resident equipment, washing down wheelchairs, walkers, lifts, feeding/IV poles, etc.
10. Respond to call lights and provide non-personal assistance as needed or obtain proper help.
11. May do resident safety monitoring based on household needs.
12. Answer phones, greet and direct visitors, assist visitors in and out of the building.
13. Regular attendance and punctuality required.
14. Functions as a member of the team and participates in routine household meetings.
15. Performs related duties as required or assigned.

Ability to verbally communicate with residents.
Ability to work alone and with others.
Ability to learn quickly and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to independently organize work.
Must be dependable, be able to meet schedules and report to work promptly as scheduled.
Must demonstrate compassion and respect for residents.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be able to meet the above specifications. Must be 16 years of age or older.
