We are looking for an enthusiastic Host, your first priority is to greet and make our guests feel welcome when entering the Venue; our goal is to make sure the host team is proactive and involved in maintaining a higher level of service and attention throughout the venue, displaying an innate sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Always comes to work with a winning attitude, yes we can mentality, minimizes the use of the word NO with our guests, always ready to find a way to create a positive experience/ interaction with all our guests.
  • Has a friendly and assertive attitude and smiles to make all guests feel welcome and appreciated, always wishes our guests a good farewell and thank you for visiting with us, extends our guests “the right of way”
  • Assists Guests with Bowling and Karaoke room
  • Insures opening, side work, and closing chores are met 100% of the time
  • 1+ years of Hosting experience strongly preferred
  • Acknowledges guests following the 5/10 rule, if within 5 feet from guests “says Hello/ welcome,” within 10 feet, makes eye contact and acknowledges guest with a head nod
  • Assist Guests in enjoying the fun and excitement of the games by answering questions promptly and clearly regarding food, beverages, and group packages inform MOD if unable to answer any questions regarding services at our venue
  • Monitors and keeps a record in tablets of open/dirty tables in the restaurant, patio, and lounge areas for prompt guest sitting. Maintains clean menus, collects excess menus from the bar and other server stations, and communicates to servers/bartenders of big parties or special requests clearly and promptly.
  • Ability to communicate estimated wait times including (but not limited to) dining seating, game time, karaoke room, and bowling. Focuses on communicating with guests on our waiting lists about time delays or table readiness

  • Assists others in the moving and reorganizing of dining/patio and lounge tables to allow for special functions or parties to be seated comfortably.
  • Communicate with Chef, MOD, and servers of any and all guest’s special dietary needs, allergies, or special requests.
  • Insures opening, side work, and closing chores are met 100% of the time
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and well-stocked Host podium (applications, menus, reservations logs, paper, pens to take notes, phones clean and disinfected continually
  • Assists team in creating “World-Class” experiences for all our guests, together we are SOCIAL!
