? Greets guests in a prompt and courteous manner; seats guests ensuring a balanced workload among servers.
? Ensures guests are comfortable in their seats and arranges for appropriate adaptations such as high chairs, wheelchair seating, etc.
? Must be knowledgeable about Food and Beverage products for both the restaurant and room service.
? Explains items on the menu with suggestive selling.
? Assists Manager or Supervisor with opening tasks such as assigning stations to servers for meal periods and retrieving daily specials.
? Processes take-out orders; may answer room service phone and process room service orders; practices suggestive selling techniques.
? Receives customer payment from servers and processes transactions on cash register as outlined in the cash and charge procedures; gives correct change; balances cash drawer at close of shift
? Completes all opening/closing paperwork and documents voids on void balance sheet.
? Assures a constant high level of guest satisfaction through communication with servers and bus staff and that guests are waited on promptly, and tables are bussed and reset promptly and property. May assist bussers in clearing, cleaning and setting tables.
? Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
? Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
? Follow company policies and procedures.

Internal: Management Staff: To alert of service challenges
Front Desk: To ensure posting of food and beverage charges to room folio.
External:
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Basic reading, writing and math. Six months cash
handling experience is preferred.
Certification and/or License Requirement: Alcohol awareness certification may be required.
