Job Description/Summary:

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communications skills, strong planning and problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay organized and multi-task in a very busy setting. Major responsibilities include ensuring guests are greeted immediately and guest needs are responded to quickly, properly booking the restaurant (using the Open Table System ) to maximize the number of guests received and maintaining a consistent flow of guests' orders to the kitchen while ensuring guests are satisfied.

Restaurant Operations:

• Responsible for answering incoming telephone calls and reservation email correspondence; greeting/directing hotel guests/staff and/or the general public
• Must be able to fulfill the following requirements: work under pressure, ability to multi-task, ability to handle the paperwork
• Monitors and maintains acceptable guest turn times
• Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff on a frequent basis
• Must know how to prioritize, delegate and respond in a timely fashion
