The Hilton Garden Inn Chandler Downtown is looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and hard-working new team members for the following position(s):
GUEST SERVICE AGENT / FRONT DESK AGENT; FT and/or PT
** Sign On Bonus Up To $500in the first 90 Days **
The Guest Service Agent / Front Desk Agent will responsible to conduct all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Audit responsibilities balancing duties, daily paperwork, and shift reports. While completing these duties, the Night Auditor will attend to guest needs such as guest check-in/check-outs, making reservations, and answering guest questions
Proactive thinking, keeping guest security always in mind, and creating a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.
Responsible for counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the issued cash drawer at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift.
Check the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc.
Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
Process guest registrations, including collecting payment.
Prepare express checkout folios.
Maintain room status inventory.
Communicate all pertinent shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff.
Maintain and clean the lobby and bathroom as needed.
Communicates all information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition.
Works closely with all hotel departments to ensure the highest quality of customer service.
Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. Explains in-room and hotel features.
Responsible for completing all required shift paperwork, and night audit reports daily.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Scope:
Serves as an all-night Guest Service Representative while accurately balancing and auditing the hotel’s income and expenses for the current 24-hour period. Also generates reports and documents for the period’s accounting records.
Primary Responsibilities:
Balances and audits for accuracy room revenue, food and beverage revenue and telephone revenue; assists in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues.
Balances and audits for accuracy all room and tax charges, cashier’s reports and guest and house accounts.
Completes and transmits daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents; prepares customer tracking report, market segmentation report, food and beverage revenue report necessary to ensure the accurate accounting of hotel revenues and expenses.
Communicates with other hotel departments as necessary to resolve accounting discrepancies and to request or provide information.
Performs all Guest Service Representative functions as required; may assist in booking room reservations; may assist in answering hotel phone calls and notifying guests of messages; will facilitate proper security of department keys.
Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
Follows company policies and procedures.
May fulfill Manager on Duty shifts

The AM Server is responsible for taking and delivering customer's food and drink orders, serve food and beverages, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments providing the highest quality service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hours of operation.
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
Job Duties & Functions
- Comply at all times with HCW Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Comply with certification requirements as applicable to position to include Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, Safety, etc.
- Perform opening and closing side work according to HCW Hospitality standards to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
- Serve guests with all food and beverage requirements in a warm, friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Ensure that the service area and wait station is kept clean and tidy.
- Follow HCW Hospitality's portion control and checking procedures precisely.
- Be familiar with the operation of the P.O.S. system.
- Carry out cashiering functions in closing checks and servicing the guest.
- Follow all state liquor laws.
- Maintain a warm, friendly demeanor at all times.
- Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
