Job description

The hotel laundry person will be responsible for the sorting, washing, drying, folding and distribution of linens to storage closets. Tasks Include but are not limited to the previously mentioned items and the cleanliness of storage closets and laundry room. Additionally, the associate would perform work in the Housekeeping department ensuring that rooms are cleaned properly and proper service is provided.

• At least 1 year experience in a similar capacity.
• Be able to work in a stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy to guest/co-workers, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to solve practical problems for guest based on the hotel policies.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Follow any direction set by supervisors and/or management.
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Honesty and integrity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability
