We are looking for a talented Restaurant Manager with a passion for service and a commitment to helping the restaurant run smoothly, for both the Front of House team and our guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Hourly Manager/Shift Lead is responsible for managing staff and the day-to-day operations including cooking, prepping, order taking, scheduling, and employee onboarding. The ideal candidate demonstrates commitment to these goals through work ethic, integrity, and respect for the company and employees. The Hourly Manager/Shift Lead will report to the Corporate Chef, the Director of Operations and the owners of the company.
- Manage food, chemical, and paper ordering (Sysco, Commissary, etc).
- Manage a team of the Food Service Associates/ Cooks. including scheduling, training, onboarding, general supervision, cooking and prepping food.
- Conduct training of employees on proper service practices on an ongoing basis, providing feedback to improve when necessary.
- Ensure that all cash-handling policies and procedures are followed by all staff in cash-handling positions.
- Uphold our standards of service by consistently and creatively saying "yes," to guest needs.
- Oversee day to day operations and make improvements where necessary and manage the facility as needed.
- Resolve any inter staff issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Ensure that proper HR procedures such as the hiring and onboarding process are being followed correctly.
- Delegate roles and responsibilities to maximize staff efficiency.
- Oversee that all opening and closing duties of the store are completed correctly and that cleanliness and order are maintained.
- Balance all daily and nightly cash drawers and POS.
- Conduct inventory and maintenance of the store as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and excellent leadership to employees.
- Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards in their area.
- Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Ability to be organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a face paced environment.
- Ability to stand and be on feet for extended periods of time in varied climate conditions.
- Ability to carry and lift up to 50 lbs at times.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Scheduled days and times may vary based on business needs.
- Possess knowledge of food preparation and kitchen services, business and basic accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to manage daily operations and resolve operational problems effectively and efficiently.
- Possess strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills with professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Display consistent professional leadership while simultaneously handling competing and changing priorities and projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years restaurant experience preferred.
- ServSafe training preferred
