Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time position (35 hours per week) in our in our Housekeeping Department for an Evening Housekeeper.

We are looking for an AMAZING Housekeeper with a "Get It Done" attitude! The ability to work with a TEAM in a collaborative and communicative environment is a MUST!

Evening Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment at Floyd Valley Hospital, clinics and other Floyd Valley buildings and campus.
• Assigned work areas may include interior and exterior work areas, and are not limited to: patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
• Must be able to read and write English, the ability to follow oral directions and work independently.
• Experience and/or training is preferred.
• Work hours are 5:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Sunday – Thursday.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months of related experiences and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• BLS a plus; certification is required as an employee.
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee.
• Vaccinations for MMR, Flu and COVID-19 are required. Individuals who are seeking an exemption from these requirements for medical or religious reason should contact Human Resources for details.
