Position Summary

Housekeepers and Laundry Aides are skilled in a wide range of functions which help maintain and contribute to the appearance and cleanliness of the community.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Cleaning rooms and public areas including vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash and soiled linens.
• Stocking supply carts
• Operating large laundry machinery

Qualifications

• A minimum of six months experience in housekeeping or laundry.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Observe and reports unusual symptoms, changes, accidents, and injuries to nursing staff in a timely manner.
• Interacts with residents and family members in a cheerful and positive manner and shall be respectful of resident’s personal belongings.
• Maintains an effective relationship with all departments and professional staff.
