What You’ll Do
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and BOH while providing exceptional levels of service.
- Conduct monthly inventory of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen as required.
- Interdepartmental communication with Front Office, F&B department, and Engineering to ensure a best-in-class guest experience.
- Ability to build a positive team culture by giving clear direction and expectations.
- Supervision of housekeeping team including mentoring, coaching, counseling and training under the guidance of leadership.
- Evaluate condition of furniture, fixtures, decor, etc. Make recommendations and take lead in the organization and coordination of Engineering and Housekeeping preventative maintenance programs and special projects.
- Ensure efficiency of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and policies.
- Drive positive and seamless employee relations with contract colleagues, ensuring proper training and culture integration.
- You'll internalize and demonstrate our cultural values on a daily basis, understanding that the team is looking to you to set the tone.
- You will balance accountability and delivering at a high level with empathy and support to create an engaged team.
- You will be active, on the floor, and hands on with your team.
- You will provide on the spot feedback.
