Who we’re looking for:

HR AND PAYROLL COORDINATOR FOR OUR CORPORATE OFFICE IN BELLEVUE, WA.

The HR and Payroll Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all aspects of payroll are completed in a timely, accurate manner on a bi-weekly basis. This includes, preparing payroll reports, processing new hire paperwork, PTO forms, terminations, rate changes and ensuring all hours uploaded from the timekeeping system are accurate. Furthermore, this position assists and carries out responsibilities in People and Culture division.


What to expect:

Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:

  • All activities related to processing one or more payrolls including maintaining related records.
  • Filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports.
  • Processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments.
  • Preparing accounting transactions and documents.
  • Preparing special reports for management.
  • Perform administrative duties including but not limited to monitoring the payroll inbox, PTO calendar administration, benefits reconciliation, invoices, employment verification, and internal audits.
  • Managing service awards and employee recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned in support of the HR division.

Your experience and qualifications:

  • Three years of previous payroll experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Paylocity experience preferred.
  • Prior Multi-state experience.
  • Prior Union experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required, with advanced excel skills. Google Suite experience preferred.
  • Experience working with HR systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable payroll laws.
  • Maintains employee confidentiality and have the ability to professionally interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be detail oriented, work well under pressure and have a strong ability to question inconsistencies and draw correct conclusions.
  • Strong communication and writing skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, managers, clients, guests, or the general public.
  • Ability to take direction and learn to handle several projects at once; self-driven.

Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
