Job Overview:

Great company in Waller, TX seeking an HR Generalist for large fast growing oilfield manufacturer. Position is temp to hire and you will qualify for some of the best benefits in the industry with a well funded and well operated oilfield manufacturing organization.

  • Provides onsite administrative support to the human resources function in the areas of HRIS/compensation/benefits, staffing/employment, employee relations, and training.
  • Maintains regulatory hardcopy files. Inputs employee personal data into human resources information/computer system (HRIS) database.
  • Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc.
  • Conducts new-hire orientations. May prepare special reports, such as insurance, COBRA, OSHA, affirmative action and headcount using HRIS.
  • Provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information.
  • May facilitate employee training and be involved in needs assessments and recommendations.
  • May conduct employee exit interviews and tally general statistics including headcount tracking.
  • Engage with candidates and new hires of all disciplines and serve as the point of contact at 2 Texas sites.

Below are key expectations:

  • Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
  • Handles employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll inquiries, and helps with employee badge administration.
  • Verifies and maintains I-9 documentation.
  • Submits the online investigation requests and assists with new employee background checks.
  • Reconciles invoices.
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs as needed.
  • Assists with processing of new hires and terminations.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested.
  • Makes photocopies, faxes, documents and performs other clerical functions.
  • Scans and maintains electronic records.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence.
  • Prepares new employee files.
  • Assist in compiling HR corporate requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be a candidate for this role, you will have a Associates Degree, or other professional degree with 1-3 years of work experience in a professional environment. Fully bilingual (English/Spanish). You will be ambitious, organized, detail oriented and friendly. You may also have some of these additional experiences:

  • Past experience working within a Human Resources or Recruiting Team.
  • ATS knowledge. We use Workday, but any other ATS exposure would be useful.
