The Staffing Specialist(s) will join our current HR Team and directly impact the furthering of CI’s Mission by ensuring that as an Agency, we recruit and attract candidates who provide support for our Individuals. The positions will be responsible for identifying, attracting and hiring talent as well as maintaining strong relationships with candidates, industry organizations and internal and external stakeholders for openings throughout Central Pennsylvania, our Delaware Residential Services and our Adult Day Programs in Delaware County and the State of Delaware. The Staffing Specialists will be the key contact for candidates throughout the full recruitment cycle, lead the candidate screening and selection process for Direct Support Professionals, Managerial and Professional level positions at multiple locations. The Staffing Specialists will work as a member of a diverse and collaborative team promoting customer service, creative solutions and work-life balance while responding to the needs of our clients and the Individuals that we support. These are fast paced positions that respond to the ongoing staffing needs of our Residential and Day Programs and various departments throughout our organization.

The positions work independently and under tight deadlines responding to the inquiries of hiring managers. The ability to be proactive and exercise a high degree of customer service is important as the work of this position can negatively impact staffing schedules and operations.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Leads the recruiting process by using various methods such as job boards, social media, data mining, industry events & organizations, employee referrals, work force management programs and local universities to fill open and recurring positions;
  • Continuously build a solid pipeline of applicants for all positions. Serve as point of contact for hiring managers and candidates;
  • Work closely with internal clients to develop recruitment strategies based on region (Delaware, Southeastern or Central Pennsylvania) or position and identify and implement the most effective recruiting channels;
  • Track and report on recruiting results to identify process and performance improvement opportunities;
  • Manages relationships with external recruitment / talent acquisition sources, web-based job sites, and colleges/universities
  • Develops proactive, traditional and innovative partnerships with local colleges, universities and job programs;
  • Promotes Diversity and Inclusion throughout the recruitment and selection process;
  • Ensures compliance of new hires with relevant regulatory requirements;
  • Willingness to travel to the various work locations to ensure continuous recruitment activities are in place;
  • Supports and completes other duties as assigned.

Bachelors degree required with 2-5 years talent acquisition experience, and experience managing the full-life recruitment cycle preferred. The successful candidates will have proven success delivering recruiting results individually in a fast-paced and environment. The incumbent must also be able to demonstrate experience recruiting multi-incumbent positions, be detail/results-oriented, proficient in MS Office and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. The incumbent must possess the ability to network externally and internally to source candidates and possess solid direct sourcing expertise utilizing a range of methods and contacts. Candidates must be able attend recruitment events as needed outside of traditional business hours and have knowledge of or experience working with an Applicant Tracking / Talent Acquisition System.

This position is primarily located at the Southeastern PA headquarters, but is required to travel to other CI Agency locations with regularity. Incumbents are responsible to ensure a valid drivers license with no less than 3 years of a clean driving record with no restrictions on drivers license. Incumbents vehicle must meet the States minimum requirements for maintaining valid automobile insurance and current vehicle registration.
