We are looking for a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to engage our operational partners across Rio Tinto Kennecott and the broader C&D product group supporting a focus on achieving their people and business priorities in addition to leading a number of HR projects.

Reporting to the General Manager- Human Resources- Americas and working in a challenging and exciting environment, a diverse team within Human Resources, you will be:
- Driving collaboration across the HR business function and supporting senior leaders with the cultural change agenda.
- Translating business strategies, objectives and context into a human resource strategy.
- Constructively challenging and coaching leaders on their individual and collective effectiveness.
- Supporting leadership with the ongoing capability build of their teams.
- Collaborating with Areas of Expertise (AoE), Shared Services, and other internal service providers to deliver on identified HR needs within the business.
- Define and lead a number of HR initiatives across the C&D product group.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 10 - 15 years of experience in an advisory position in human resources.
- A strong background as a HRBP within a large networked organisation.
- Proven ability to engage, influence and collaborate with senior leadership teams with a good application of contemporary HR systems, processes and obligations.
- Ability to coach and influence senior leaders in a way that tests conventional thinking and challenges the status quo.
- Experience in organisational design and implementation of appropriate tools and systems, organisation and development interventions and employee / labour relations.
- Flexibility to work across time zones and hold a high level of integrity, confidentiality and credibility.
