JOB TITLE: HR Data & Reporting Analyst II

BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

Deliver people analytic insights to enable the business to make thoughtful, data-driven people decisions. Use human capital data and reporting to leverage our key people metrics and provide robust data insights to our Steering Team, HRBPs, and the businesses we serve.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, design, schedule and manage development and deployment of Metrics Packs across multiple modules.
  • Work closely with leadership on insights driven from data analysis done using Workforce Analytics
  • Participate and represent HR in overall Enterprise Data Management solutions
  • Train junior level data analysts on best practices and development of reports and dashboards
  • Plan, design, schedule and coordinate data analysis, design, development, and deployment of data dashboards.
  • Develop best practices for data loading and extraction into and out of HRIS systems.
  • Ensures data accuracy. Interprets data to assist in planning and developing human resource management decisions used for staffing, productivity, and training.
  • Interpret report requests by having a thorough understanding of data structures, data availability, and any reporting limitations
  • Produce monthly/quarterly Functional level summary reporting and trending analysis, in partnership with HRBP, leveraging corporate level templates and dashboards to ensure consistency
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets. Develop analysis and HR reporting capabilities and presentations, executive dashboards.
  • Train and continuously educate our internal customers on people metrics and dashboards
  • Ensure accuracy by performing a final quality review of all reports produced
  • Validate the accuracy of custom SuccessFactors Dashboard results and participate in the core design team to continue ongoing development
  • Help Managers navigate and leverage SuccessFactors Manager Self-Service dashboards
  • Perform regular data integrity audits of underlying source data
  • Responsible for providing data to support audit/compliance reporting
  • Respond to Ad Hoc reporting requests or special project data analysis
  • Works cross functionally with the HR team to pull together data analysis and dashboards for Total Rewards teams such as compensation, benefits, leaves, etc.
  • Conducts data and cost analyses to be used for Steering through Managers to guide them in headcount forecasts, headcount requisition approval and workforce planning process.
  • Act as lead on various projects of a highly complex and technical nature. Carry out large-scale projects and initiatives from the planning state through implementation.
  • Design end user interfaces and system integrations and reporting.
  • Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, knowledge, and skills
  • 4 years of experience in data analysis, with a demonstrated experience in talent analytics or HRIS required

SKILLS:

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • High proficiency using dashboards/visualizations tools, e.g., Workforce Analytics, Tableau, Power BI
  • Extremely High attention to detail, data definition integrity, and data quality results
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and intellectual curiosity (continuously asking “why”, “what if”)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
  • High integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
  • Workforce Analytics experience required.
  • SuccessFactors and HRIS experience required.

Compensation starting at $52290 – $74700 / year and up dependent on candidate location and experience
