Job Overview:

The Human Resources Generalist primary function is to provide support for all activities and services within the Human Resources Department. This position may carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits, unemployment, employee relations, employment law compliance, etc. Will undertake and support special projects as assigned by Director of Human Resources

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide support to all functional areas within the Human Resources Department.
• Assist in the administration of all employee benefits as needed.
• Processing of employee leave time and absence reports.
• Serve as a liaison between staff and human resources on employment issues as assigned.
• Provide recruitment support
• Provide support on HRIS system upgrades and implementations.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Assists with processing of terminations.
• Prepares new-employee files and contact various department supervisors for any missed times.
• Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, and insurance and 401(k) deductions.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resource
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• PHR and/or SHRM certification preferred
