We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant who will give support to the human resources team in areas such as recruiting, onboarding, employee records, training, audits, and benefits. Responsibilities – HR Assistant:
- Initiates the background checking process and monitors progress until clearance or other final disposition
- Processes new hires
- Assists employees with personal information changes
- Gathers organizes, scans, preps, names, and files electronically employment records (interview guides, new hire paperwork, data change forms, salary justification forms, training documents, etc.)
- Provides general clerical support to the HR team such as responding to employee questions and requests, tracking employee referral data, licensing-required training data
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements – HR Assistant:
- Human Resources experience preferred
- Must be organized, detail orientated, and are able to work independently and multi-task efficiently
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills including communicating clearly, effectively, tactfully, and patiently to a diverse population
- Excellent interpersonal skills and positive demeanor with the ability to build rapport and garner trust with others
