Easterseals Human Resources Department provides staffing, training, employee relations, compliance, compensation and occupational health support to employees in New Hampshire and Vermont.

We currently have an opening for an experienced Human Resources professional to support assigned programs as their HR Business Partner. The individual in this key position will be responsible for developing and executing recruiting plans, managing the hiring of staff, improving manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating and implementing solutions, coordinating/facilitating trainings and conducting exit interviews.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute recruiting plans. Network through industry contacts, association memberships, social media, colleges etc., to develop and execute recruiting plans.
2. Manages hiring and on-boarding of staff ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements and Easterseals policies.
3. Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating and implementing solutions, by counseling and coaching managers and employees.
4. Assists in the evaluation of decisions and results of programs in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of services performed.
5. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
6. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining networks and participating in professional organizations.
7. Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement and exit interviews.
8. Identify, facilitate and participate in relevant staff trainings and workshops.
9. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
10. Travel to office sites required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 2-4 years of Human Resources experience
  • PHR certification or SHRM-CP preferred
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and computer proficiency are also required
  • Travel to offices in New Hampshire and Vermont is necessary
Hours: This is a full-time (40 hours a week), salaried position.

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 anually dependent upon experience.

  • Sign-On Bonus to be paid out in two installments within 6 months.
