Ascendo Resources is actively seeking a Bilingual HR Specialist for our client for a Fulltime and Onsite Role. This role will focus on supporting the Industrial Labor employees of the organization, as well as handle general HR tasks like onboarding and training.

LOCATION: Onsite | Swedesboro, NJ

PAY RATE: $24/hr

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a MUST
• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a recruiting role in manufacturing/food
• Schedule does require additional hours on occasion, so someone who is flexible to the needs of the role and the organization to stay late or work overtime when needed
• Strong Communication, Verbal & Written in Spanish and English
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Detail oriented, results driven, strong time management skills

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with and develop relationships with on-site staffing agency to fill open positions on a frequent basis
• Conduct onboarding for all new temporary workers, both plant and office roles, including GMP training, safety training, facility tour, overview of PPE
• Create and assign badges to new temporary staff and replace lost badges as needed
• Compile the labor sheets for the Department Leads to complete daily
• Check the Attendance Line for all callouts daily, and update the tracking of attendance
• Be the point person for all temp employees
• Make recommendations to the Director of HR for process improvements
