Job Description:
- This position will be responsible for process administration and support all locations and HR professionals.
- They will work closely with other benefit team members, other cross-functional departments, as well as consultants and legal counsel to ensure plans are well-understood, utilized, performing and compliant.
- This position will report to the Benefits Lead of North America.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the leave & disability plans by working with internal partners, providers and outsourced benefit administrator to ensure that benefits are being provided in accordance with plans for entire active population, that the websites and supporting documentation and communications are clear and accurate and tracking the plan benefit payments and activity to ensure compliance with overall benefit design.
- Be a contact for plan providers, address employee, HR partner, and provider escalations, including managing Leave & Disability inbox daily. Monitor and track claim payments and reconcile in partnership with payroll and HR system team.
- Support HR partner trainings around Leave & Disability Process, New Hire Orientation, Retirement, and ongoing Health & Welfare processes.
- Help manage the implementation of changes for Leave & Disability, Health & Welfare, and Retirement, which includes working with benefits administrator, actuarial consultants, plan managers and vendors as well as changes to any communications, including SPD changes.
- Participate in testing and managing the Annual Enrolment process, including reviewing all plan changes in eligibility and rate calculations.
- Support file processes and maintain accuracy for Heinz North America population, including payroll, HR system, Willis Towers Watson, and Health Account administrator. This includes managing changes, year-end reconciliations, ongoing error reports and working with the appropriate teams on data-discrepancies.
- Assists with audit, reporting, amendments and government filing
- Create and oversee payment process for non-plan payable invoices, including creating and closing out vendor summaries, tracking budgeting, and forecasting project spend by consulting plan managers.
