The CDC Foundation seeks an energetic, people-focused, HR Generalist to help coordinate HR activities and assist with the operation of the HR function. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. Duties include HR compliance, knowledge labor laws, employee relations, policies and procedures and support for management objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or relevant field

· Minimum of five years’ experience in Human Resource Generalist position

· Strong written and spoken communication skills

· Employee coaching skills

· High level of confidentiality

· Excellent organizational skills

· Work well in a fast-paced environment

· Strong computer skills

· Experience with performance management

· Experience with Human Resources Best Practices, Policies, and Procedures

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships

· Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems (specifically ADP)

Responsibilities:

· Serves as the main point of contact for managers and staff

· Assists in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies

· Provides guidance and interpretation for business operations

· Coaching of company supervisors in their communications and interaction skills with employees

· Completes investigations for employee complaints

· Provide consultation on various topics (compensation, benefits, leave) and promotes understanding and access to staff and managers where needed

· Lead employee performance evaluation

· Prepare internal employees communication regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies

· Promotes HR programs to create an efficient and conflict free workplace

· Completes the personnel files for new employees

· Assists and completes the necessary HR correspondence

· Performs other related duties as assigned

The CDC Foundation requires all employees to be fully vaccinated* for COVID-19 as a condition of employment effective November 22, 2021. All offers of employment after that date are contingent upon proof of full-vaccination status as a part of the pre-employment process.

*Fully vaccinated is defined as follows: At least two weeks have passed since receipt of the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine, or the second dose of the either the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech two-dose vaccines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
