Position Summary
The Human Resources Specialist is Responsible for completing HR Infrastructure projects for HRE clients as assigned, and for contributing to the development and maintenance of effective working relationships with same.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Client Project Support
- Collabo Support Senior HR Advisor and team HR Advisors in new client HR Assessments by attending assessment meetings, collecting and assessing client documents using RYG (proprietary) tool, and preparing iSolved audits, compensation audits, and turnover reports, to assist in the preparation of findings and recommendations reports and presentations
- Collaborate with Senior HR Advisor and team HR Advisors to build strategic HR Plans that outline priority projects for completion for each client based on their individual findings and recommendations reports
- Use established processes/procedures to build custom HR tools including, but not limited to job descriptions, compensation ranges, HR process checklists, employee retention tools (e.g., satisfaction surveys), new hire packages, termination packages, performance management tools, employee handbooks, etc.
- Build e-onboarding, performance management, and other functions for HRE clients in iSolved;
- Regularly partner and timely communicate with clients in the development of their infrastructure tools and system build outs
- Maintain knowledge of trends related to best practices and of changes in HR legislation
- Assist in the customization and delivery of training materials as needed
- Partner with internal sales and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and completion of projects.
Administrative
- Coordinate with HRE Project Manager to ensure client labor poster compliance
- Ensure HR tools taken from HR Library and customized for clients are the most up-to-date and compliant
- Ensure newly-created policies or forms are approved before dissemination, and afterward provided to the HRE Project Manager to templatize and file in the HR Library
- Maintain HRE client documents in folders using established document naming conventions
- Routinely audit assigned clients' folders, documents, and iSolved setup to ensure all are current and up-to-date
- Accurately log all hours devoted to HRE clients in Smartsheet on a regular and timely basis
- Update Planner (or other) with all client activity on a regular and timely basis
- Maintain HR Elite Library according to the department's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Provide back-end assistance in delivering HDRP and other Management Training Presentations as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Incumbents must demonstrate the ability to follow policies and procedures as established in the Company's Employee Handbook. - Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
- Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Planner and PowerPoint
- Video conferencing applications, e.g., Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Experience using Survey Monkey (or other) to build and deliver surveys
- Capable of learning and using Smartsheets and iSolved
- General office equipment such as computers, printers, projectors, and scanners.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR, or a related curriculum, OR completion of an HR Certificate program and equivalent work experience in HR, is required.
- aPHR, PHR, PHRca, SHRM-CP a plus, but not required.
- Minimum two (2) years human resources experience required
- Experience in completing HR projects related to a majority of the infrastructure tools listed above is required
- Recent Human Resources experience in California required
