The HVAC basics training course is a 10-day/50-hour boot camp that offers a blended combination of 50% classwork and 50% hands-on training to integrate classroom theory with real-world industry skills. This approach focuses on the basics of HVAC to provide brand-new technician hopefuls with the knowledge and resources to be successful as an HVAC service/installation helper. Responsibilities of an HVAC Technician

• Follow defined installation procedures for HVAC equipment and assist in the installation
• Be able to keep the work area/vehicle clean and organized
• Start up new equipment and verify that it works properly
• Ensure customer satisfaction on every service call
• Basics of troubleshooting with HVAC equipment
