Hyatt Place Milwaukee West & Airport are seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team. This person will assist the Director of Sales with all aspects of the hotel sales department. Daily activities will include booking social/SMERF groups and meeting room events while providing exceptional customer service to our hotel guests and clients.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Exceptional communication and sales skills to solicit new business and maintain current clientele satisfaction.
  • At least one year of sales experience in a hotel or related setting.
  • Willingness to perform outside sales calls and cold calling.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities often in stressful situations with strong organization skills.

Job Description:
  • As the Sales Coordinator, you will be building relationships with our guests from the beginning of their booking process throughout their stay. You will be responsible for promptly responding to guest inquiries, coordinating event details, qualify all leads and providing sales support to the operations team members.
  • Coordinating internal sales efforts by promptly and professionally responding to walk-in, telephone, email guest inquiries, responding to Hotel Planner inquiries and leads generated from Hyatt and other sources. Providing on-site tours as needed for potential client events and group blocks.
  • Assist the Director of Sales with prospecting for new and potential business.
  • Completing group event details, BEO’s, entering rooming lists and other duties as requested.
  • Coordinating administrative sales support such as setting up billing information for groups and events, creating sales flyers, etc.
  • Perform weekly telemarketing calls to solicit new and untapped business leads within the Sales Coordinator's specified market segments.
  • Become acquainted with all lead systems (Hyatt, Envision, Cvent, Hotel Planner Lanyon, etc.) and support the Director of Sales in the follow-up of all leads.
  • Direct sales leads to the Director of Sales within the DOS's established market segments.
  • Assist the Director of Sales in the development of new programs and sales campaigns in an effort to obtain additional sales from the various markets.
  • Provide exemplary service to all of our guests to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining compliance and remaining up to date on new sales initiatives for the brand and company.
  • Participate in weekly corporate and staff meetings.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and Management Company.
