Implementation Manager Manage all aspects of Telecom Equipment deployment from: Customer relationship, project plan of record, project schedule, cost, inventory, billing- invoicing, change control and scope creep. ASP process adherence, compliance and deliverables. Interfaces with External interfaces: ASP, Customer PM, Switch facility manager, Client - BSS engineering group, Field Operations. Internal interfaces: CPM, Sales, Engineering, Data Translations and integration resource managers, Procurement and logistic personnel. DESCRIPTION: * Coordinate Equipment deployment with Service Providers and any other disciplines that interface with the Customer Network facilities, central office or Cell site properties and access. * Direct or complete market level Equipment deployment activities including, but not limited to the following: o Site Survey o BOM required o Coordination of: ? Dimensioning Engineering documentation ? Implementation Engineering documentation ? Integration Engineering and Data Translation documentation ? CIQ information: ATND, STND, RND TND ? Coordination and submittal of MOP documents. ? Coordination of installation and integration resources o Manages all request and changes to Data translation scripts o Identify and manage all work required to complete and acquire NTP o NTP hand off to services integration team * Network equipment deployment problem solving encountered by the Service Providers. * Ensure that the agreed implementation schedules and guidelines are followed and enforced. * Submits regular daily/weekly/monthly progress data to the CPM (IM2 or IM3). * Attend internal coordination and progress meetings, providing updates as needed. * Ensure that quality of the Service Providers work is within Client standards. * Maintain a good working relationship with the Customers representatives and all disciplines involved in the project. * Coordinates activities and ensure that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in line with the Project goals and objectives. * Ensure proper records are maintained for all Equipment deployment. * Responsible to maintain all project milestone data in Site Handler. * Requires knowledge of the following products: o AXE 501, AXE 810 3G UMTS, Power PDU, EPDU. BTS 2100 series, UMTS Node B 3100 series cabinets, BBU power * Requires an understanding of Core network connectivity (MSN, BSS, DAX- OC3) and RAN network connectivity- T1 NIU. to transport DAX Implementation Manager 2 -IM2 Has GOOD knowledge and skills. IDENTIFIES and SOLVES complicated problems that require careful analysis by ADAPTING existing procedures, techniques and methods. ACTIVELY CONTRIBUTES to improvement and change. Works INDEPENDENTLY. EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 2-5 years of experiance: o Job-related experience with project builds over 200 sites o Experience as a Switch, Field or integration engineer. o As a Telecom Project manager working with equipment deployment (Core or RAN) PREREQUISITE REQUIRED TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS: Supplier is responsible for ensuring that Personnel have the necessary qualifications and certifications required to perform the Work described herein prior to beginning Work, including OSHA30, RF Awareness, CPR/First Aid, and Ergonomics and any refresher training required to maintain such certifications. Supplier is responsible for tracking and will pay for forty (40) hours of training required for the Work per 12-month period including training fees, all training time, and any travel expenses and compensable travel time required to attend training. Client will be responsible for time attending required weekly safety shorts and any additional training that is required for the Work and approved in advance by the Client Resource Manager. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: *Note that Supplier is responsible for compensable travel time and expenses related to ensuring Personnel is in the Base Market at the start of the assignment and for Personnel’s demobilization out of the Base Market at the end of the assignment. In addition, Supplier is responsible for paying Personnel for compensable travel time to the first work site as designated by Client and from the last worksite back home or to the hotel. Travel time (as opposed to mileage reimbursement) shall not be charged to Client and Client shall not pay Supplier for any such time. Personnel may charge compensable travel time between worksites during a workday in Client’s time and expense tool. Supplier is also responsible for paying Personnel for all administrative time, for example, time spent setting up a computer, communicating with Supplier, completing paperwork or training required by Supplier, entering time into Supplier’s timekeeping system, etc. No administrative time may be charged to Client or entered in Agency Handler without approval by the Client Resource Manager. Bill rates include, and Supplier is responsible for (i) all reasonable living expenses within the Base Market; (ii) a smart phone with WiFi tethering, (iii) a laptop computer appropriate to meet the requirements of the assignment, and (iv) any other tools reasonably requested by Client in order to meet the requirements of the assignment. Supplier is required to have its own timekeeping system to accurately record all hours worked by Personnel. Supplier is responsible for ensuring Personnel accurately record all time worked (whether it is chargeable to Client or not) in Supplier’s timekeeping system and properly paying Personnel for that time, including any compensable travel time, training time, administrative time, etc., as applicable.
