The Implementations Project Manager is responsible for the successful deployment of operational objectives and business solutions for both internal and external teams. This role works directly with team members to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable timelines, key performance metrics are met, as well as keeping to established initiative scope and budget. They are the primary project managers that coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and work with leadership to ensure obstacles are addressed and assignments are delivered with minimal distractions. - Acts as the lead implementor for assigned projects including, but not limited to, customer onboarding, business process redesign/optimization, performance management initiatives, and software implementations
- Prepares detailed executive summaries for project stakeholders including project plans, key performance indicators and other related deliverables
- Incorporates established project management guidelines into all assigned work
- Responsible for leading assigned continual process improvement initiatives
- Applies fundamental project management principles to assigned work
- Analyzes performance related information in order to drive projects to successful completion on time and on budget
- Coordinates meetings and communications amongst all project stakeholders
- Develops, maintains and/or ensures the professionalized delivery of project deliverables including work plans, workflow diagrams, training materials, tip sheets, and project documentation
- Works with vendor partners to facilitate assigned projects
- Provides support to all levels the organization and its clients
- 5+ years’ experience in project management
- Experience working in health care and/or insurance industry a plus
- BS in Project Management, Business Administration or related experience
- PMP Certification highly preferred
- Other project management certifications and experience preferred including Agile, Scrum and Six Sigma
- Highly proficient with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, SmartSheet, etc.
- Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
