About

I have an immediate need for an in-home 1st grade math & ELA tutor in Pacific. The student is a 1st grader attending Truman Elementary School. He needs assistance with math and writing.

The student has ADHD and struggles to stay focused in class and complete his work. He struggles with basic addition subtraction and gets frustrated easily.

He needs weekly concept review of the areas that he is weak in math. Math will be the main focus of the sessions but the family would like the tutor to work with him on writing as well.

The goal is to rebuild the students math foundation and be prepared for the following years. The family is hoping the tutor can suggest supplementary materials that they can provide for the sessions.

The family wants 1 hour sessions once a week. They are available Monday & Wednesday from 5:30pm-7pm as well as Saturday & Sunday from 11am-2pm.

Job Requirements

• Tutor must be willing to work at the student's home in Pacific across Hogan Road from the Avery Mobile Home Park.
• Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)

Student Availability

Mon & Wed 5:30pm-7pm

Sat & Sun 11am-2pm
