In-Home Part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) Job Description:

Pediatric Advanced Therapy (PAT) is seeking a motivated and energetic professionals to join our growing home care team in the greater Charlotte area.

We are hiring multiple part-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) or Behavior Technicians (BT) to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children in a home setting. Cases are currently located in the South Charlotte area.

Current Cases Available:

Case 1: Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., zip code 28210

Case 2: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. until 12 p.m., zip code 28270

Schedules are subject to change based on client needs. Opportunities to add more hours at a later date are possible. Growth to full-time is an option if desired by the candidate.

RBT’s and BT’s are responsible for implementing skill acquisition goals and Behavior Intervention Plans designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

We are looking for professionals who really want to make a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. PAT will provide initial training for new technicians and ongoing supervision from a BCBA.

Behavior Technician 40-Hour Course:

If you are not an experienced BT/RBT, you must complete the 40-hour BT training on your own time before being hired. The training is free and can be found at this link: https://autismpartnershipfoundation.org/courses/rbt/

Part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Job Responsibilities:

• Provide quality 1:1 instruction to children in the areas of communication, social, play, and adaptive skills
• Record objective daily data to reflect client progress towards goals
• Maintain objective daily session notes
• Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors

Part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) – preferably in a human service field (Education, health care related, etc.), Associate's degree considered
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
