Job Duties
  • Communicate via ESH, phone, and email to other carriers to negotiate settlement of 3rd party subrogation demands.
  • Ability to review and analyze 3rd party physical damage demands
  • Follow up on missing evidence, supporting documents
  • Operating within a team environment to maximize the team’s overall accuracy improvement results
  • Review, manage and adjust financials in ECOS/ESH
  • Maintain statutory, jurisdictional, and regulatory compliance
  • Resolve customer service inquiry's raised from our insured, field partners, CAE, and ClaimPlus accounts
Job Qualifications
  • One year+ of auto claim handling experience preferred
  • Claim Adjusting license is required (can be obtained within 60 days from hire)
  • Experienced auto damage negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of ECOS and Arbitration Forum platform (ESH/TRS) is preferred
  • Understanding of auto damages, auto repair techniques and understanding of theories of liability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong desk management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$40,960 - $61,440
