Matheson is hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician for our location in Fife, WA now.

Position Description:

A Matheson Diesel Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing problems, making repairs, providing ongoing maintenance, conducting periodic testing, and other duties to ensure vehicles run smoothly and safely. Diesel mechanics possess knowledge, experience, and expertise in operating high-tech power tools and equipment.

Experience:

• 2+ years of industry experience

Qualifications:

• Must possess own tools and storage

• Ability and experience in running overheads adjusting valves, injectors, and rockers on Cummins ISX engines
• Must be able to repair trailers as well - Dry Van

• Proficiency in the use of diagnostic repair manuals, diagrams, and schematics used to diagnose electronically controlled fuel systems

Compensation:

• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

• $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, DOE

• Matheson Referral Program: Refer a Diesel Mechanic and receive an additional $2,500 paid out within their first year.

Requirements:

• 21 years or older

• 2+ years of industry experience

• Must possess own tools and storage

• 3 years of continuous US residency, USPS requirement
