Individual Giving Associate

About us:

We are looking for a talented Individual Giving Associate (Fundraising) to join us as we grow contributed income from individual donors through our direct mail campaigns, ticketed events, and planned giving program.

Catholic Guardian Services helps build stronger families and healthier communities by providing holistic human services for children and families in need regardless of race, religion, creed, or life circumstances.

About the position:

The Individual Giving Associate (Fundraising) will work to increase our supporter numbers and contributed income from individual donors as part of our broader fundraising strategy. Working with the development team (Fundraising), you will plan, produce, evaluate, and implement a mixture of donor recruitment techniques, using both online and traditional media (social media - facebook - instagram - website). You will enhance our donor communications and help develop multi-channel fundraising initiatives to engage with current and potential individual donors in the most inspiring and effective ways possible. You will support our board members to activate their networks of potential donors. You will craft compelling stories and outcome reports to inspire individuals and motivate them to donate and make sure they know the value of their support.

Your role is to ensure that our individual donors feel looked after, valued, and understand the impact of their support. This is a varied role, and you will be presented with different challenges daily.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Coordinate identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and follow-up activities for individual donors;

Manage social media platforms and create strategic giving campaigns such as Annual Giving Day, Mental Health Clinic Campaign, Celebrate Summer/Scooter Campaign, Back-to-School Giving, Christmas Giving to identify potential donors and engage current followers.

Excellen writing and proof-reading skills required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
