PDQ Skilled Trades is now hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our client in Fort Worth, Texas! Our client designs and manufactures innovative, distinctive products and components for use in homes and automobiles.

This is a great position to get more hamds on experience towards a career as a Maintenance Technician!

Shift:

• 2nd shift: 1:30pm - 10:00pm Monday - Saturday

Pay:

• $20.00/hour
• Paid weekly
• Overtime pay

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make mechanical repairs and adjustments.
• Maintain operational readiness of equipment including replacement and repair of electrical and mechanical components.
• Install new equipment, modify existing equipment and devices.
• Maintain facilities and grounds.
• Read and understand blueprints/technical schematics.
• Work weekends/overtime as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability and commitment to work safety.
• Minimum 1 year experience in mechanical troubleshooting/repair in industrial manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair electronically controlled hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Must have own hand tools up to 1 ¼”.
• Ability to operate forklift, overhead crane or man lift according to company policy required, a plus.
• Proficient communication skills required. Must be able to read, write and speak English well.
• Welding/Fabricating experience is a plus.
• Machinist experience is a plus.
