We are seeking a well-rounded Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. We have both a 12-hour day shift and a 12-hour night shift position available.

You will maintain and repair industrial production machinery at our Portland, PA location. Competitive base rate based on experience plus additional on-call compensation at our Portland, PA location. Portland is conveniently located along the Delaware Water Gap and within 30 minutes of Stroudsburg, Easton, Brodheadsville, Mt. Pocono, Hackettstown, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily and weekly preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
• May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
• Repair, install and adjust industrial extrusion machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
• Must be able to work a 12-hour 6:00 am - 6:00 pm or 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
• 2-week rotational 2*2*3 schedule: Sun, Wed, Thurs and Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat (36 hrs / 48 hrs)

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of previous experience working on industrial machinery or other related machinery
• Welding and Fabrication experience a plus but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Able to be on call as needed
