URGENTLY HIRING - INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Career Recruiting Specialists is partners with a major tissue mill located in Barnwell, SC. We are seeking an experienced mechanical industrial maintenance supervisor. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Industrial supervisor in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate (Preferred)

• Paper Mill Experience a Plus

• Lean manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)

• Microsoft Office: 3 years (Preferred)

The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of mechanical maintenance work throughout the facility. This role manages, supervises and coaches members of the maintenance team. The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in training, coaching and assessing mechanics on maintenance elements of continuous excellence using TPM as the multi-disciplined approach to establish a continuous improvement and zero loss culture, supervision and regulatory compliance of environmental programs, project installations, modifications, or renovation of equipment.

• Must always emphasize commitment to safety
• Must help enforce general manufacturing practices (GMPs)
• Must be able to handle unexpected maintenance crisis
• Must help develop continuous improvement
• Must help assist the manager build up the proactive maintenance schedule and help reduce/eliminate reactive maintenance issues
• Must assist the manager to work with production, quality control, and warehouse departments to maximize the ability to bring in raw materials and produce WIP/finished products to go to customers
• Must be prepared to be on the floor most of the workday
• Audition, leads, and mechanics are a must
• Must be open to learning or has experience in lean manufacturing/maintenance.
• Must be able to stay at work, until issues have been resolve. ( with or without the manager)
• Must be willing to take calls at any time
• Must be willing to come back after hours and/or weekends to resolve issues.

• Must be good communicator
• Microsoft office experience
• Maintenance planning experience
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience a must

• Must meet GPI standards for the supervisor position

• Lean Manufacturing experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
