ChampionX has an immediate need for an Industrial Maintenance Technician located in Odessa, TX. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Knowledge of methods, practices, and techniques of maintaining building and facilities required. Additional responsibilities will include facility painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical repairs, and office/site make ready.

What You Will Do:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical of facility systems and equipment
- Understand basics of industrial electrical - single phase and 3 phase power
- Experience in basic carpentry, painting and site make ready
- Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworker
- Other duties as required
- Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent or technical training
- Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements
- Encourage action assuring safe behavior
- Challenge unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively
- Regularly and predictably attend work and be punctual
- Possess good organization and time management skills
- Have good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Work in an unsupervised environment
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Use a computer to communicate, create, and access information
- Promote continual improvement culture
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or field service in the oil and gas settings preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Employee is required to occasionally walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.
- Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push.
- Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
Work Environment:
- Some work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
- Some work is accomplished outdoors in a variety of weather and temperature conditions.
- Work will require visits to company’s Permian locations inside and outside of Midland/Odessa.
- Work normally is not executed in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
