Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: St. Louis Park, MN (off County Road 25, on the border of Minneapolis)

Type: Direct Hire, Full time

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 - Starting wage is based upon experience. Paid weekly! Performance based pay increases.

Shifts available:

• 1st shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
• 2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm

We're hiring a full time Maintenance Technician; one on 1st shift and one on 2nd shift, for a leading manufacturer with 75+ years of business in high-quality kitchenware products. Employees here take pride in the products made, and many choose a lifetime career here!

In this position, you would be responsible for performing duties that include installations, repairs, and maintenance of machinery and equipment in the plant as well as building maintenance. You will also conduct periodic inspections of machinery and buildings. What you will get to do:

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production and non-production equipment including, but not limited to, greasing, lubrication, filtration and power transmission components.
• Diagnose equipment and machine malfunctions, effectively repair and perform adjustments to equipment, controls and processes.
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance to equipment and buildings.
• Work with Safety and Production Managers to recommend and install necessary safety components and related equipment on machinery as well as buildings.
• Install new and relocate existing equipment as needed.

What we are looking for in you:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2-3 years of industrial/Machine Maintenance required.
• Able to perform basic welding, plumbing, minor electrical and work with power transmission, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in the repair of a variety of machines including but not limited to pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and other production related processes and systems.
• On the job training is provided to familiarize with our production, facility, and supportive equipment.
• Graduate of an accredited vocational institution is preferred.
