RMC is hiring for an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to support the Combat Air Forces (CAF) Operations Mobile Device (OMD) program for our customer at Langley AFB (Hampton, VA). The selected applicant must be able to demonstrate hands-on Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Information Assurance (IA) Manager experience. This position will perform a variety of Cybersecurity and IA activities, to include:
- Supporting RMF workflow by proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information system security policies, instructions, standards, and methodologies.
- Advising the Government on IA, Certification and Accreditation, and cyber security best practices to support current and planned technologies and methodologies.
- Assisting in interpreting and refining government Cyber Security guidance and constraints and integrating them into draft concepts, tactics, techniques, and procedures for implementation.
- Coordinating with other staff agencies in DoD, SAF, and MAJCOM levels on cyber security requirements for ACC sponsored systems/enclaves.
- Assisting Project Management Officers (PMO) with IA related items required under the Federal Information Systems Management Act (FISMA).
- Providing support, inputs, and documentation for effective project management of network related programs and projects.
- Educating program managers, both in writing and in-person, on aspects of the program.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in security management, computer systems, network engineering or related field.
- IA Technical Level II (i.e. GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP) certification, IAW DoDD 8570, and DoDD 8570.01-M.
- Security Clearance: An active DoD Secret security clearance is required to start; active Top Secret highly desired. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Additional experience requirements include:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience creating and transitioning Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages spanning multiple Area Processing Centers (APC), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) controls across the Enterprise.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as an IA Manager (IAM) that includes DoD & Air Force Information Assurance policy, guidelines, and principles.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience with DIACAP, eMASS, and experience with Enterprise Information Technology Data Repository (EITDR) and DISA System Network Approval Process (SNAP).
- Minimum three (3) years of experience providing Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) user training and account administration for the MAJCOM. Need to be familiar with XACTA capabilities.
