  • Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) Standards - to identify projects that simultaneously address climate change, support local communities and smallholders, and conserve biodiversity.
  • Plastic Waste Reduction Program - to enable robust impact assessment of new or scaled-up waste recovery and recycling projects around the globe.

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to build and lead a team to support our expanding reliance on technology that helps us do our work efficiently and deliver high-quality services to our stakeholders.


Verra is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Support Manager to ensure Verra's IT and knowledge management systems (KM) are meeting the needs of its employees.


A day at Verra might include…

  • Team up with the IT Consultative Group (ITCG), Human Resources (HR), and external consultants to collect feedback on training modules, review planned hires, and assess the implementation status of multiple programs.
  • Presenting with our Managed Services Provider (MSP) to implement organization-wide technology-related upgrades.
  • Schedule the procurement, configuration, and delivery of computer equipment and peripherals to new employees.
  • Coordinating with our MSP to resolve employee hardware, software, and/or connectivity problems.
  • Identifying and implementing ways to ensure continuous improvement in Verra's IT and KM systems.

Specific functions you will be responsible for leading...

  • Managing Verra's internet and IT assets, and improving internal IT processes, developing standard operating procedures, including written protocols.
  • Coordinating implementation of new and/or improvised IT resources and assist HR with onboarding.
  • Developing, maintaining, and improving Verra's technology enablement and training program for employees.
  • Supervising and resolving IT issues, business data, and events while identifying gaps in the support process and amending them accordingly.
  • Leading, with the support of the COO/CFO, negotiations and administration of vendor contracts and service agreements as well as developing and handling our department's annual budget.
  • Owning the ITWG to identify issues affecting users and to ensure our projects meet Verra's overall needs.

You bring with you...

  • A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or management/engineering with experience in the IT department of an organization.
  • Good project management skills with the ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time, within budget, and with good partner consensus.
  • A customer-service-centric approach and passion for technology, and commitment to keeping up-to-date on new developments in IT.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages.
  • Good communication (oral and written)/presentation and teaching/training skills.

  • Verra's IT networks and systems are risk-proofed and secure;

Compensation at Verra


Verra pays employees competitively to the market. In return, we expect each employee to, at a minimum:

  • Meet expectations in terms of work effort and performance;
  • Take the initiative to build the skills and knowledge needed to do their job effectively; and

For this position, the salary range is USD $81,371 - $92,383 depending on experience.


We recognize employees who go beyond expected performance with salary increases and promotions. However, the bar for earning those rewards is high.


Salary is one component of Verra's total compensation package, which also includes:

  • Health, vision and dental care, and life insurance;
  • Verra contributions to each employee's retirement plan;
  • Verra contributions as required by national labor laws in countries where staff are located;
  • Paid Time Off (PTO), comprising 22-30 days plus ten floating holidays, sabbatical after five years of service, and other leave allowances; and
  • Funds to support professional development.
