Encore Technologies is seeking an IT Technician to work for a client in Louisville, KY. This role will be a 6 month Contract to Hire role and will be worked 5 days a week on-site.

** Here is the schedule for this role:

Sunday: 11 AM - 8 PM

Monday: OFF

Tuesday: OFF

Wednesday: 3:30 PM – 12 AM

Thursday: 3:30 pm – 12 AM

Friday: 11 am – 8 PM

Saturday: 11AM – 8 PM

Position Summary: The IT Technician is responsible for providing support and maintaining business systems. They must possess excellent logical problem-solving skills and have the ability to follow through to a resolution. They will work on completing projects with the team and also on continually improving themselves, they are required to work successfully with limited supervision. They must be able to show empathy to team members who struggle with technology and provide them with excellent guest service.

Responsibilities:

· Set up new hardware such as computers, printers, phones, etc. Reimaging of computers.

· Provides exceptional guest service to our team members through problem resolution and process demonstration.

· Provides onsite support for the gaming facility, including weekend and night-shift work.

· Manage vendor contracts, relationships, and service outages, communicates frequently.

· Ability to use a troubleshooting mindset to resolve unique issues that may not have documented resolutions.

· Creates technical documentation on processes and input steps to resolution in our ticketing system database.

· Demonstrates knowledge of O365 Admin portal, SharePoint, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Windows Servers, vCenter, Cisco phones, Oasis360, Everi Loyalty, Micros EMC, Cisco Network.

· Work with the IT team to project plan and discuss ways to improve efficiency.

· Input tickets, escalate as necessary, and communicate to the team member the status throughout the process.

Education & Training:

· Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, or another relevant field or equivalent work experience

· Preferred certifications Comp Tia A+, Network+, Security+, MTA, CCENT, MCSA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
