The Inside Sales II position has the responsibility for preparing quotations for the Huntington Park plant. The position works closely with commercial management, sales, customer service, operations management and others as needed to prepare quotations that are accurate, professional and meet customer expectations. In addition you will:
- Draft all heat treat quotations within 48-72 hours of receiving the RFQ.
- Use Salesforce to report weekly quoting activity for the plant
- Follows established procedures to develop pricing on various heat treat processes for the plant.
- Maintain information within Salesforce.com to ensure reporting is as accurate as possible.
- Develop and distribute reports with account manager from Salesforce as determined by General Manager.
- Assist with quote revisions as assigned by Account Manager and General Manager.
- Track quote volumes and develop pipeline reports by plant. Ensure accuracy of sales $ volumes per job to assist with forecasting and sales team follow-up.
- Will have backup duties and responsibilities within the certifications and invoicing departments as needed.
- Additional duties and projects as assigned by General Manager.
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures.
- This position is responsible for the financial function of the business and as such will perform duties in a fiscally responsible manner
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
- 4-year college degree in Finance, Sales & Marketing, Metallurgy/Material Science or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of quoting experience.
- Must be capable of interpreting blue prints and specifications.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication for interfacing with top management levels, various plant personnel and sales team. Demonstrated ability for attention to detail and accuracy of work.
- Requires computer experience, specifically with Microsoft Office programs. CRM program experience preferred.
- Must possess a high degree of understanding of basic math and algebraic functions.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
