Sales Assistant | Equipment Finance | Knoxville, TN
Altius Search Group is recruiting for an Inside Sales Assistant for one of our clients in the Equipment Finance Industry.

- Sales Coordinator should demonstrate commitment to delivering distinctive service.
- Responsible for the writing, distribution, collection, storage, and/ or maintenance of client sales documentation.
- Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects, in person and over the telephone.
- Respond to client inquiries and satisfactorily resolve client issues. Support firm-wide achievement of the three-ring standard (all phones answered by a live person within three rings).
- Prepare and input information in client information system.
- Collect and Track client information for follow-up activities and credit submission.
- Partner with teammates across firm to ensure that everyone is completing and submitting the necessary documentation on the front-end.
- Review approved deals requiring client documentation.
- Identify missing or incomplete information on contracts requesting documentation.
- Communicate with sales team regarding the timeframe or any additional information needed.
- Generate requested front-end documents with high level of detail and accuracy.
- Review completed document set when received from client with high level of detail and accuracy.
- Identify any missing or incomplete information and follow up with Sales team as needed.
- Request and file audits; track and communicate exceptions, if applicable.
- Identify, prepare, and track document amendments as needed.
- Meet all the client’s financial needs, both business and personal, and refers clients to other specialty areas such as Trust, Investments, Insurance, Treasury Management, etc. as appropriate.
- Assist other team members as needed to ensure delivery of distinctive service.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent – A college degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or related software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving ability with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and prioritize daily tasks.
- Excellent client service skills. Tact and diplomacy in dealing with both clients and associates.
- The physical activities of this job include but are not limited to the ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time, use of manual dexterity, verbal communication, visual acuity, repetitive motion, and the ability to hear. Often long periods of mental concentration are required.
