PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads for Territory Sales Managers and promoting Antech’s products and services through the development of strong customer relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Foster professional relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Daily outbound calling to prospects on target account list.

Meet established quota of qualified leads as well as closed deals as a result of those leads.

Update and maintain client records.

Work prospects through the sales process.

Work closely with management and senior team to identify opportunities.

Timely follow up to all incoming leads and qualifying each prospect accurately.

Send appropriate product information and track progress of all leads.

Identify and generate new client relationships.

Handle orders, support questions, and other inquiries.

Set up new accounts.

May be asked to participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
-
1+ years previous sales experience with a preferred background in telephone, retail sales or customer service

Prior experience within the Veterinary/Animal Hospital (Vet Tech) preferred

Passionate for the well-being and health of animals is a must
-
Highly focused with a strong desire to “hunt” and close new business within a fast moving environment

Strong phone sales skills, understanding of the sales process, and the ability to make high volume outbound calls to build a prospective client list

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
