For our Megadyne Inside Sales team, we are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative, which supports our Inside Sales Team. Full benefits on day 1 + 401(k) after a month.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing accounts through proactive outbound telephone contact and email to maintain and grow sales for specific accounts as well as provide technical and commercial support to customers. The Inside Sales Representative will sell and upsell products and solutions to customers using his/her phone and analytical skills, leveraging data, reports, and customer history to anticipate needs and understand account activity. You will report to the Inside Sales Manager, with interim reporting to the Director of Sales, OEM, and be part of the Inside Sales team. This position works on a team of about 4 people and regularly collaborates with several internal departments, including Sales and Product Management teams. In this role, you will be based in Charlotte, NC. Our colleagues like one another, so this is an in-person, in-office role.

A day in the life of an Inside Sales Representative can look like:

  • Lead generation and prospecting – makes outbound follow-up calls for existing customers by telephone and e-mail to research, qualify leads, and follow up on new sales leads to sell and upsell products and services to deliver profitable and sustainable growth.
  • Manages business matters via CRM including call schedules, quote follow-up, cases for returns, product price and availability inquiries, and maintains customer database.
  • Supports management of smaller accounts by contributing to competitor analysis.

We are looking for you to offer the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of related customer service experience; or combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to learn technical products and understand their applications; ideal candidate would have product knowledge in both synthetic and modular belts.
